It's no secret that we're big fans of London-via-Japan musician Grimm Grimm here at TMR (read our recent TMR Talks To... feature with Koichi here). Returning with a stunning video for one of the more unusual tracks on his recently released third album Ginormous, the cosmic clip was filmed in Hackney Marshes in April 2020 at the beginning of confinement (Covid-19 lockdown). Perfectly echoing the blinding effect of the music on 'Spomenik', director Rohan Thomas catches the suns golden rays as its sits low in the sky in the evening. Exiting Earth with Cosmology by Yvonne Volcan and guest appearances by Akihide Monna (Bo Ningen) as 'drummer in the dunes' and Dee Sada as voice in the sun it's a heartwarming visual accompaniment to the otherworldly track.
